forbidden laughter
tickles
silenced lips.
young hearts play
deep
in the darkness,
free
from fear’s illusion;
free
from love’s shackles;
free
to explore life’s mystery.
twinned souls seeking
forever,
lost
in a silver moonlit kiss.
forbidden laughter
tickles
silenced lips.
young hearts play
deep
in the darkness,
free
from fear’s illusion;
free
from love’s shackles;
free
to explore life’s mystery.
twinned souls seeking
forever,
lost
in a silver moonlit kiss.
soul flooded
with shadow and flame,
i sink
deep,
into the silver void.
lost
to a world
more wicked than my own.
oh,
how i longed
for her ephemeral kiss,
for
even in that longing
i did find bliss.
then, as
this moment
slips
into a specter of doubt,
this sinner prays
to be scorched once again,
by her cold
midnight stare.
sinking
to reality,
and
fading
to black & white,
dreams slip back into
the future,
safe from harm.
what was never found
is lost,
once again.
as She soars deeper into mystery,
Her secrets linger,
clinging to the shadows.
Her silver ambrosia fills this cauldron of night,
and we weave spells
wrought with desire,
waiting
desperately,
for the magic to return.
but,
She slips
softly across the sky,
leaving us
lusting for miracles
and love.
as Apollo’s final wink
inflames the sky in audacious hues;
The Baron emerges,
sifted from Twilight’s dusky spell:
Which is our
time to flee
the coming night,
with all its unseen.
But,
unbidden,
unencumbered,
and
unapologetic:
She Rises Radiant.
to
light shadow with dulcet whisper;
seduce Samedi; and
claim Queenship of these crossroads.
dream safely tonight my friend,
for you are protected, and
you are loved.
without struggle, peace
is but fantasy.
wandering the battlefields of indecision,
passion grows old
and shrinks to but a dream.
swallowed by Time,
and Fate,
and fear, and
Hope,
we pray
for memories that never were
and grope for a freedom
that was never ours
Her dusky hues
paint the very air, and
i stand bewitched,
beholden to my beloved.
betrayed
by boorish lust,
she drowns me in a beauty
so vast that i weep.
but these tears cannot wipe clean
the wonder i see
crystalized
in this moment….and so I fear the next.
so i dance,
wildly,
confusing destiny
with treasured lost memories
weighing heavily on these rigid bones:
silence reigns, for the music has gone.
a hummingbird’s song
is all
that remains
in this nightingale soul.
spring rain,
now a cacophony of pain,
washes the fear from my stare.
but this
shameful,
sheltered,
shattered heart
reflects a thousand fears yet untold.
A hope deferred.
a dream
wasted.
Dawn’s fiery promise,
fades limply
to a pale blue sky.
what wonders brew in your soul?
what magic beckons to your call?
what power do you hold?
let me go,
and chase the divinity
which is yours.
or,
remain here,
with me,
and bask,
adoringly
in the embers of yesterday.
flashes of wonder
scorch the imagination,
and
dreams of tomorrow
haunt your days.
whistling through the winds of desire
Change, calls your name.
Are you ready
to play this game?
