long after midnight

beckoning from beyond
the corners and
boundaries
of the night, she
waits
with the libertine grace
of a hurricane unbound.

beneath a soft rain,
dream and
expectation
susurrate between leaf
and shadow,
weaving fearful ecstasy.

I move to her, ready
once again,
to die, or
to soar,
just like how we loved
before.

sloughing sin

histories suffocate
under the
vibrancy of these lush
tropical nights, and
I scream
for release,
only to awaken here
naked,
next to you.

Knowing knows
and you don't
know
nothing.
but,
my love,
neither do I.

so,
we learn to creep,
penitent and
proud,
thrusting subtlety here,
and there.

we learn to cleave unto memory..

memories woven by old spiders
and old women,
woven to adorn the
stooped shoulders
of kings
fallen.

lolligaggin’

summer's ebullience creeps in
gentle,
yet rambunctious,
with cool sunny mornings composing sweet songs,
of lush, verdant,
and joyful things.

the humming abundance
shakes this penitent soul.

and I surrender,
but still,
I want more.

drowning,
between gusts of
summer madness,

&
heretical expectation,

I float
roughly,
'cross an ocean breeze
to
screams of delight which
punch so gracefully through the wind,
harmonizing elegantly,
with the cries of anguish
for what must leave.

and I wait
impatient,
for the wheel
must turn .

misremembered love

ghosts
of summer rain
up,
around, and
over me
like a million fireflies laughing
on a hot dusty breeze.

...sweetness,
captured 'neath linden trees sagging under
the volume of cicadas...

and night slides
through, awakening
dreams...

and old fears too.

and
I smile deeply
into
her eyes
with delight,
finding
infinity
smiling right back:

oh this crazy love
we share:
my beautiful Tanty
and me.

Beauty Offset: A Symphonic Sunset

your
radiances blind
the truth vision of my soul,
but
it is just
when my sight is so tossed
askew, that i can truly begin
to envelop all of you.

and as dusk creeps
seductive
behind your ferocious succumbing,

i see
the synchronicity
of delightful and
pretty things.

i see
the love

twixt me

and you.

dancing on the rainbows to come

do you simply see
sorrows
singing in the rain,
amidst the wonder
of this love?

bird
&
beast beckon you
to play,
yet simple sorrows still
cloud your day.

if but you
had
the courage
to laugh
proud and full,
perhaps then,
truth
would flood over,
and through.

ahh my child,
if you could
but know
the deep joy
that storms
within the heart of you.
