drenching
memories of what
never came.
washing
away hopes
and silly games.
peace
found
in the pain.
peace
lost
for the insane.
drenching
memories of what
never came.
washing
away hopes
and silly games.
peace
found
in the pain.
peace
lost
for the insane.
above the rain
&
under the fire,
we scurry,
Giants
running from god.
yet,
in
between every raindrop
an angel screams
out
in uncontrolled ecstasy.
will this rain
never end?
swimming twixt verdant bosom,
laughing…..
and a million fingertips
tickle my face.
i am drowning, in
the interminable ecstasy
of spring.
may summer never come.
softly soothing
and
implacable,
she releases her
calming fury.
drowning the silence
with her quiet
syncopations,
all heed
her power and dream.
drifting
gently
into
that primordial sea:
dreaming of
the chaos
we weave.
summer nights’
wicked songs of madness.
calling forth
the magic
of
youth.
of what
do birds dream
when the
rains finally fall?
empty need
rages unchecked
within.
Void.
yet,
we
must
consume.
life
unquenched.
lust
devoured.
a vacuum,
abhorred.
and crumbs
of
desire
fall impotent
against soft lips
sealed
with a
flaccid kiss.
whistling behemoth
tickles up the spine.
tamed ferocity
laughing
out
loud.
and Giants
and devils,
roar with glee.
singed
by the fire
burning in me.
plaintively
unapologetic….
for what need?
beyond the edges
and the boundaries found within,
fear reigns,
as the prevailing wind
the swift
dissapation
of
a Truth
so
Real
returns
the soul
to its Natural
state.
Yearn not.
Hope not.
Love all,
but
Praise none.
night
slow-ly
slips under
powder gray sky.
the birds
sing still.
the snaps
of bats’
wings
play like castanets
as evening swings
seductive hips,
calling fairies out to play.
and the birds
sing
still.
and
we wait
for the Thunder
&
for the
Rain.
build.
wait.
come.
spent,
and
waiting.
silence
is not silent
in a soul ablaze with Light.
that silence
is the explosion
between two
hearbeats.
so close
my eyes
and let us
welcome oblivion,
together.
